All Chief’s security team including his CSO decided to take the plea bargain because they felt a trial would expose them and their families to more harm. They provided information on activities they carried out for Chief especially as regarding Chuks and Chika.
Amara had become irritated after her first court appearance with her mother where they pleaded not guilty. She had been doing lots of thinking and had come to regret letting her mother ruin her life at such a young age.
She remembered the words of Chuks at his apartment. Buchi had implicated them by providing very implicating information especially videos and audio recordings.
The evidence was so overwhelmed that there was no way of escape for them. She was facing attempted murder charges, as well kidnapping.
At 18 she felt her life was over. She turned on her mother in custody and blamed her for leading her astray but roping her into her vengeance for Chuks family.
Her mum was nonchalant and said I didn’t force you, you did it willingly. Amara got so angry at her mum that they had to be separated.
One asked him if he was comfortable letting his children inherit an empire built on such unbelievable crimes. Another asked him if his marriage had crashed as his wife was not in court to support him or if she had moved on with another man.
As Amara was taken away she said she wanted to speak to the prosecutor. When he arrived she said she wanted a deal in exchange for providing information against her mother.
The prosecutor asked her what kind of deal she was looking at. She said she wanted to get a degree and learn a skill while doing her time.
The prosecutor said it’ll depend on what information she provides because Buchi had already provided a lot of information.
She said she was willing to validate the information Buchi provided and testify against my mother in court.
The prosecutor said why? Amara said I’m just mad at how my parents watched me waste and ruin my life and said nothing. I want to get back at them.
Then she said she didn’t want to go to trial just like Buchi. She said she couldn’t cope with a trial and started to cry saying she was sorry and wanted to go home.
The prosecutor and his team just watched her as she cried. The let her cry before consoling her and telling her that every action has a consequence.
And for that reason she couldn’t go home. They said the best she could get is a reduced sentence and she cried even more saying my life that has barely started is over.
The said that kidnapping was a felony that carried a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 20 years in prison but attempted kidnapping could carry a maximum penalty of five years
As she was an accomplice to attempted kidnapping and attempted murder of Chuks that she could receive a lighter sentence in exchange for testifying against her mother.
They said her major charge was attempted rape against Chika and also planning to upload a recording of the incident recorded without Chika’s consent to social media.
They said she should speak to her lawyer. Her lawyer wasn’t too happy about it because she was defending her and her mother.
She said she won’t want any part in it that Amara should get herself another lawyer to do her bidding. Amara said she will that by the way she’s been incompetent.
The lawyer asked to see Amira to inform her about the latest developments. Amira called her daughter a snitch and said she should suit herself because her charges were attempted not the real event.
She planned to kidnap Chukwuka and murder him but she didn’t do it so she should not serve time of someone who actually carried out the crimes.
Her lawyer said she should really consider the plea bargain but she said she was going to trial.
Uzo was arraigned in court with the rest his gang on charges of attempted kidnapping of Chinedu and his family. They all pleaded guilty
The trial of Ella, Anna and Lolo including other people who defamed Chika and Gozie had come to a close. They were found guilty and ordered to pay damages. Lolo was disappointed and said the judgement was unfair.
Ella and Anna were relieved that one arm of their trial had come to an end. They wished the bribery charges would be dropped because they were tired of court appearances and regretted joining forces with Chief.
Nelson passed Lolo’s message over to Nze and he was so furious. He said she’s even taunting me. I regret every minute I spent with her.
I wish I could get out and grant interviews about my affair or even write a tell all book just to get back at her. He was so furious and said I’ll get back at you even if it’s the last thing I do.
Obiora was back again after a long time since he last reported earth shaken news.
He said I’ve always read about crime scenes in novels and watched a few in movies but never thought we’ll see one in our country.
Remember Chief Iheanacho, well he’s back in the news. This time for an earth shaking reason. An abattoir at least that’s what the police is calling it was discovered and it’s credited to Chief Iheanacho.
In case you are wondering why the name well it’s because it’s a place where Chief has his competitors or anyone standing up to him or in his way killed after torturing you.
It is a large plot of land in the middle of nowhere. It has a torture centre where you can be water boarded, remember that torture techniques that the CIA was once accused of using?
Well Iheanacho’s death squad uses it to torture victims, then kill them and bury them in graves on the large plot of land.
It’s impossible to ascertain how many lives Chief Iheanacho has claimed in his quest for power and need to remain number one. The police have however obtained a list of possible of victims but it’s impossible to ascertain who is who.
As the police are still unearthing bodies or do I say skeletons because some of these murders occurred over two decades ago.
So if you have a loved one who disappeared over two decades ago without explanation then they may well be buried in Chief Iheanacho’s abbatior.
It remains to be seen If any of these bodies can be identified but currently it looks unlikely. My heart goes out to anyone who has been affected by this recent discovery.
Now it begs the question what kind of man is Chief Iheanacho? What kind of man can be so cold to purchase a piece of land just to kill people and bury them there?
Well only God can answer that question. I hope all families affected get closure as Information reaching us has it that Chief Iheanacho and his minions are about to have a first court appearance.
A case was built against Chief Iheanacho and his accomplices except Nze. They made their first court appearance under very tight security.
Chief pleaded not guilty. Richard and his predecessors pleaded guilty. The news of Chief Iheanacho abattoir and court appearance dominated news headlines and Obiora had a field day with him.
His wife Lolo Uchechi needed security to keep the press away as the besieged her office and residence to ask questions about if she was aware of her husband’s abattoir.
Many people were calling for her head as an accomplice but the police had responded that there was no evidence to prove that Lolo was an accomplice to her husband’s crimes, so until there was she couldn’t be arrested.
Chief family members blamed her for not fighting hard enough to free her husband. Nze watched the news in detention and said to himself I’ve to find a way to rope her into this crime just to get back at her and exact my revenge.
Chief wore dark shades as he walked beside his lawyers during his first court appearance. He was unrepentant and lacked remorse.
He never answered any questions asked by the media as directed by his lawyers. They asked him how many people he had killed and buried.
They asked him when he began to kill people. They also asked him to provide a comprehensive list so that the families affected can gain closure. One journalist asked him what legacy he was leaving behind for his children.
One asked him if he was comfortable letting his children inherit an empire built on such unbelievable crimes. Another asked him if his marriage had crashed as his wife was not in court to support him or if she had moved on with another man.
Those questions hurt him he stopped took a look at the journalists, wanted to respond then he remembered the gag order placed on the case and walked away.
He got into the vehicle conveying him back to detention and wept because of what his life had become. He was hurt that none of his children, wife or family members were in court to support him.
He may have committed all those crimes but they had played a part in spending the money he made from them.
Now he was left alone to face the full wrath of the law. Chief was still lost in thought when a vehicle rammed into the vehicle he was riding in.
There was a plan in place to stage a break out for him. Chief wasn’t aware but Nelson, Alfred, Chinedu and the IG suspected and were ready.
Ebuka, Chisom and Chidi were running surveillance around the clock running up to the day of his court appearance.
Chinedu got the military involved and had them on standby. Since the IG suspected that an attempt may be made to rescue Chief Iheanacho.
He ordered he be conveyed to court in a bullet proof van unknown to his minions. As the rammed into the vehicle they started to shoot sporadically.
Chief wondered what was going on and so did the armed guards escorting him back to detention. They shot at the vehicle but were surprised that the bullets didn’t get through to the driver of the vehicle.
Soon the combined team put together by the IG descended on them and engaged them in a gun battle. The IG ordered that they ensure none of them got away if they couldn’t take them alive. The media arrived to cover the event from a distance.
The team wanted to take them alive but the people had resolved to take their own lives instead of allowing themselves to be taken alive and that they did.
When the dust had settled there were bodies littered on the road. The IG called one of the guards with Chief Iheanacho and said please give the phone to Chief.
When Chief answered the phone he said hello Chief I see your people wanted to rescue you. Chief said I had nothing to do with it.
The IG said whatever you say just know that I’ve instructed that you be shot instead of you walking away free and continue to perpetrate evil.
Then he said have a safe ride back to prison Chief Iheanacho. Chief said to himself could it be my family that’s responsible but no matter what why did it fail.
If only I was rescued the first thing I’ll do is leave this country then get rid of Nelson and Co and the IG before getting rid of Lolo Uchechi for turning her back on me when I needed her most.
