On his way out Anderson called Liam’s lawyer. He filled him in on his discussion with Fred. He told him to follow up the process so Liam’s case can be put to rest.

He headed to prison to see Greg. Ryan drove to Nancy’s apartment to pick her up. He was a little cold and Nancy said you are upset isn’t it?

Ryan said you know I don’t pretend I’m pissed. How can someone lie against me like that? Nancy said he lied about me, so yours shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Ryan said what he said is very damaging and can put paid to a relationship that has not even begun. Nancy said what he said against me is equally damaging.

 He said I aborted countless babies and may be unable to have a baby.

I think he is achieving exactly what he wanted to achieve. Making us second guess each other.

This is exactly why I insisted on the preconception checkup. I knew such issues would come up. Ryan said I just don’t know.

Greg said what I want to tell you is top secret. Anderson said sarcastically really? Greg said Liam’s shooting is a diversion. Anderson said excuse me!

Greg said yes he was shot to divert your attention and make you pay less attention to the main target.

Anderson said and who is the main target? Greg said your Son, Adrian.

Nancy said this is exactly why I never wanted to tell you about it. Ryan said and why won’t you tell me something as damaging as this?

Nancy said because of the way you are acting. Ryan said can we get going? Nancy said I’ll just come on my own. I don’t want to ride with you with a face like that.

Ryan said oh c’mon Nancy please don’t push it. Nancy said now you are acting like I’m forcing you to do something that is against your wish, I’m not going anywhere.

Ryan said I don’t believe this as he sank into the front seat of his car. He said Nancy, please I’m trying. Please meet me halfway.

Nancy said you are acting like I already accused you and it’s true. I heard something troubling, I got worried and asked you now you show up here with the cold shoulder. Acting exactly how Henry wants you to act.

While they were arguing Dr. Richard called Ryan and said I’ve been waiting for the both of you, what’s going on?

Ryan said Nancy said she’s not coming again. Richard said goodness gracious, please put your phone on speaker.

Ryan put his phone on speaker and Richard said Nancy if I don’t see you today I’ll be very offended, that’s all I’ll say and he ended the call.

Nancy reluctantly got into the car and went with Ryan. As they arrived at Richard’s office he said now listen to me, both of you.

I’m very disappointed in both of you. You are acting exactly how this person wants you to act.

He turned to Ryan and said I expected better from you. That’s a serious allegation and instead of feeling self-pity and flaunting the victim card.

I expected you to put her worries and concerns to rest. Ryan said how? Then he said how do you know what the matter is?

Richard said Nancy told me. Ryan said really? When? Richard said it doesn’t matter. You should try to address her concerns.

He turned to Nancy and said I expect you to be more understanding because his ego has been bruised.

He said to them do you want the preconception checkup or not?

Anderson arrived to speak to Greg, he said I just hope it’s worth it.

While Anderson was at the prison meeting with Greg. The doctor stopped by to see Liam.

He said you’ve made lots of progress from the way you were when you were brought in. I hope this improvement continues and you’ll be back on your feet in no time.

As part of your recovery, you’ll have to take short walks. Walk two to three times per day. This may help prevent blood clots and help you heal faster.

Do not lift anything heavy. Heavy lifting may place too much stress on your wound.

Sleep in a comfortable position. Do not lie on your injured side.

Sleep with your head propped up on pillows. This may make breathing more comfortable.

Use a pillow when coughing or moving. Press a pillow gently against your wound when you need to cough or move. This may decrease your pain.

Perform wound care as directed. Remove your dressing before showering unless I specifically tell you not to.

Do not soak your Gunshot Wound. Let your wound air dry.

Apply a clean bandage as directed. Change your bandage if it becomes dirty or wet.

Monitor your wound for signs of infection such as redness, swelling, or pus.

Then the doctor said get support. It is normal to have difficult and unexpected feelings after a gunshot wound.

You may have feelings such as anger, depression, fear, or anxiety. You may have nightmares or continue to think about what has happened.

Nancy and Ryan had the checkup done and Richard said they could go and he’ll let them know when to come in for their results.

He said I expect both of you to sort yourselves out. Anderson finally met with Greg. Greg said what I want to tell you is top secret.

Anderson suddenly felt sick to his stomach. He stood up from the seat he was seated on and said Adrian and you are just telling me?

Greg said I’ve been asking to see Jason but no one listened to me. Anderson said and you couldn’t tell me the day we met?

Greg said well you aren’t actually my most favorite person so I struggled with the decision of telling you or holding my peace.

Anderson said but why? Greg said it has to do with a bill you are sponsoring in the Senate. It has ruffled a lot of feathers.

Many people seem threatened by that bill on removing immunity for politicians no longer in office so they can face corruption charges.

Anderson said, “When is it supposed to go down? Greg said today, Anderson said what!

He sent for Jason immediately as he asked Greg where it was supposed to take place.

Greg said I believe your son is hosting a high class event today? Well one of the guests in that high class event is the shooter.

Anderson said as Jason arrived, wondering what was the urgency, why shoot my son? Why not me?

Greg said they want to teach you a lesson and make you feel pain. They know how much you love your son.

Jason said to Anderson what’s going on? You have been mentioning shooting since I arrived. Who is getting shot?

Anderson said my son Adrian, Greg is telling me that my son is about to be assassinated today at the event he is hosting today. Jason said wait what?

Anderson made an attempt to leave but Jason stopped him and said wait. Where are you going? Do you want to get killed?

Anderson said my son is about to be shot and you are asking me where I’m going to.

Jason said to Anderson calm down and stop acting out of emotions. He said call Adrian and tell him what just came up.

I’ll call my friend in the military and fill him in and see what we can do about it.

Anderson called Adrian and said you need to leave that place now. Adrian said Dad I’m about to kick off this event.

Anderson said you are about to get shot, Adrian said what?

Just then Anderson had a gunshot and the line went dead.

Anderson screamed nooooooooooo, Adrian please talk to me. Hello Adrian can you hear me?

Anderson sank to the floor screaming nooooooooooo my son.
